Visa to be requested only upon confirmation of having been admitted to take the entrance exams, on the basis of the regulations published by the M.I.U.R.

  2. Recent passport size photo, colored on a white background, required size photo – 3*4 cm.
  3. Passport or travel document valid for at least three months after visa expiry date.
  4. Financial Guarantee (5953,87 euros for the entire school year). This availability can be proven through:
    • proof of personal or family resources;
    • guarantee of financial resources by accredited Italian institutions or agencies, local governments, or foreign institutions or agencies considered trustworthy by the Italian Diplomatic Representation.
  5. Declaration of the availability in Italy of appropriate lodgings.
  6. Domestic passport for the Russian Federation, a copy of the main page and the page with registration.

Documents required for study technical and professional instruction beyond the level of compulsory education (over 18 years of age)

  1. Visa application form (click here)
  2. Recent passport size photo,colored on a white background, required size photo – 3*4 cm.
  3. Passport or travel document valid for at least three months after visa expiry date
  4. Proof of enrolment or pre-enrolment in course of study, indicating number of hours daily study and duration of course.
  5. Documentation of educational history in Country of Origin.
  6. Proof of available means of support for the stay in Italy of an amount not less than that established in Table A annexed to Ministry of Interior Directive 1.3.2000 For details…
  7. Declaration of the availability in Italy of appropriate lodgings as well as the funds necessary for repatriation, possibly to be demonstrated in the form of a return airline ticket.
  8. Insurance coverage for medical treatment and/or hospitalization, to be demonstrated by means of:
    • consular declaration attesting to the applicant’s right to healthcare in the presence of specific agreements between Italy and the applicant’s country of origin;
    • foreign insurance policy or one underwritten with Italian bodies or firms that must not include limitations or exception to the fees established for emergency hospitalization.

Documents required for study religious novitiate/training

  2. Recent passport size photo,colored on a white background, required size photo – 3*4 cm.
  3. Passport or travel document valid for at least three months after visa expiry date.
  4. Declaration by the host religious body, stamped by the local Apostolic Nunciature or Vatican authorities, indicating the duration of the period of training or novitiate, lodging and meal arrangements as well as the applicant’s available means of support while staying in Italy of an amount not less than that established in Table A annexed to Ministry of Interior Directive 1.3.2000 For details…
  5. Return-trip booking or ticket or proof of available means of personal transport.
  6. Insurance coverage for medical treatment and/or hospitalization, to be demonstrated by means of:
    • consular declaration attesting to the applicant’s right to healthcare in the presence of specific agreements between Italy and the applicant’s country of origin;
    • foreign insurance policy or one underwritten with Italian bodies or firms that must not include limitations or exception to the fees established for emergency hospitalization.

Documents required for study grants

  1. Visa application form (click here)
  2. Recent passport size photo,colored on a white background, required size photo – 3*4 cm.
  3. Passport or travel document valid for at least three months after visa expiry date.
  4. Proof of having been awarded a study grant by the Italian government, recognized foundations or cultural institutes, international organizations, foreign governments or universities. Where the amount of the grant is in need of supplementation to satisfy the required amount of means of support, economic resources can also be demonstrated by proof of available means of support for the stay in Italy of an amount not less than that established in Table A annexed to Ministry of Interior Directive 1.3.2000 or by:
    • proof of personal or family resources;
    • bank or insurance warranty or equivalent credit document (bank letter of credit applicable in Italy) or traveller’s cheques or other documentation proving the availability of sources of income in Italy (by means of bank transfer or deposit from abroad).
  5. Declaration of the availability in Italy of appropriate lodgings as well as the funds necessary for repatriation, possibly to be demonstrated in the form of a return airline ticket.
  6. Insurance coverage for medical treatment and/or hospitalization, to be demonstrated by means of:
    • consular declaration attesting to the applicant’s right to healthcare in the presence of specific agreements between Italy and the applicant’s country of origin;

Documents required for study appreticeship

According to the treaty between Russian Federation and European from 01.06.2007 there is a facilitation on issuance of Schengen visas. Due the treaty the document stating the purpose of the travel for some visa categories might be different from the standard list , please refer to the information on the web site of the Representation of the European Commission in Russia.

  5. Statement about the availability in Italy of suitable accommodation, as well as the sum needed for repatriation, which may be verified by submitting a return flight ticket.
  6. Health/insurance cover for medical and hospital admissions that should not entail limitations or exceptions.
  7. Internship documentation. Internships are made on the basis of a special agreement between the promoter and the hosting employer.
