Re-entry visa

Visa is intended for foreign citizens permanently residing in the Italian Republic who have applied for a residence permit (permesso di soggiorno) for the first time or have temporarily lost their residence permit due to theft/loss/expiration and intend to re-enter Italy.

1. Application for re-entry

You will find the form on our website in the «Forms» section

2. — in case of expiration of the residence permit — the original and a copy of the expired document (both sides);

- in case of loss/theft of the residence permit — a copy of the report on loss or theft from the local police authorities

3. A copy of the receipt (Ricevuta) for submitting documents for obtaining / extension (in case if more than 60 days have passed since the expiration date) / renewal in case of loss or theft

4. Copy of the page of the foreign passport with the stamp of the last exit from Italy, and, if available, a copy of the used ticket or boarding pass
