Document requirements for religious reasons
- visa application form
- recent passport-style photo
- passport or travel document valid for at least three months after visa expiry date
- return-trip booking or ticket or proof of available means of personal transport
- adeguate documentation regarding the applicant’s effective ‘religious’ qualification
- adequate and documented assurances regarding the religious nature of the event in which the applicant intends to take part or regarding the activity to be carried out in Italy
- proof of economic means of support as per Ministry of Interior Directive 1.3.2000 (click here) or declaration of assumption of responsibility by the religious organisation
- in case the duration of stay lasts less than 90 days the Applicant needs to present valid insurance policy with a minimum coverage of €30,000 for emergency hospital and repatriation expenses
