Family reunion visa
To apply for a visa type “C” (for the purpose of visiting family) is available for:
• family members (as defined Directive 2004/38/EC*) of persons specified in paragraph h of Art. 4 p. 1 of the Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers of Italy from August 7, 2020:
- spouses,
- partner to whom the citizen of EU got married in accordance with legislation of host state,
- ascendants at expense and these ones of spouses and partners,
- descendants under 21 years or descendants at expense and these ones of spouses and partners.

5. Accommodation proof. Filled and signed Invitation letter in the established standard form from inviting person.
6. Copy of a valid identity document of inviting person residing in Italy (EU citizen passport or residence permit)
